An urgent call from the CIA has you and your team sifting through the basement office of a recently arrested sleeper agent from the Cold War. Your job is to discover the secrets this spy has been hiding all these years. Will you be able to finish your mission before disaster strikes?
About This Escape Room:
New in 2019, this room hits many cultural notes from the Cold War era. This room wraps challenging puzzles around tropes from the years before glasnost. Designed and fabricated right here in St. Louis, players will get a kick out of the surprises contained within the rom as they work together to escape.
One of the owners is a US Army Veteran, serving at the tail end of the Cold War. This escape room is a labor of love after a fashion. It was one of the first ideas for an escape room when Gateway Escape Rooms was first conceived. Like all rooms, this escape room has been thoroughly tested and features custom-built fixtures and carefully crafted props. You do not need to be a historian of the 60s, 70s and 80s, to solve the room, but it does add to the fun!
If you are planning an escape room team building event, this room is an excellent choice as its design lends itself to cooperation and collaboration. layers of a certain age will really enjoy the vibe of the vintage artifacts and fixtures.
